*Air tank and weight Belt included with all dive training.

Some people have their own dive gear or borrow from someone, if not you can rent all the gear usually at per day price.

TRY SCUBA PROGRAM (ISO 11121)

Try Scuba is an introduction to Scuba diving conducted in a learning pool.

Try Scuba program is not in open water and does not have certification. Try Scuba is for people that want to experience scuba diving basics before going through the certification program.
-Taught by active Assistant Instructor or higher level.
-Must be 10 years or older, some restrictions may apply.
-Maximum depth 15 feet / 5 Meters.
-Must complete all academic and water session’s outlines by SSI program requirements. -

Prior to Try Scuba program, students must complete:
-Statement of Understanding
-Privacy Statement
-Medical History form
-Waiver and Release of Liability and Risk Awareness Verification (where applicable)
-After completion will be entered in the SSI system and receive digital recognition card (not certification)

OPEN WATER DIVER PROGRAM (ISO 24801-2)

Open water Diver Program is the recreational beginners level

Open Water Diver Program is a certification that you have the knowledge and training necessary to dive autonomously with equal or more advanced buddy in waters shallower than 60 ft / 18 meters.
Completion usually conducted over 4 days. Theory portion is done online prior starting in pool training.
1. Online study / exam
2. Pool time and practice
3. Diving in Open water
4. Certification

-Conducted by active open water instructor
-10 years old minimum, some restrictions may apply
-80 minutes of open water dive time minimum
-Complete all academic material
-Complete water fitness evaluation before open water sessions
-Complete pool / confined water sessions and skill evaluations
-Complete Open Water Dive exam with 80% score to pass
-Complete at least 4 training dives in open water.
-During open water test student must be under direct supervision of SSI Dive Professional with in physical reach
-Upon completing all requirements, student will be issued Open Water Digital Certification card.
-Prior to Try Scuba program, students must complete:
-Statement of Understanding
-Privacy Statement
-Medical History form
-Waiver and Release of Liability and Risk Awareness Verification (where applicable)

What Scuba program is best for me?

iDiventure offers an introductions course (Try Scuba) and beginners course (Open Water Dive Program.)

Try Scuba is a simple 6 hour introduction to Scuba Diving including theory and 1 pool session. This course does not include a certification for open water diving. Try Scuba will cover the administrative requirements, theory lessons, and 1 pool dive session. This course is for people that are unsure about Scuba diving and want to learn more.

Open Water Dive Program is the first level diving certification program iDiventure offers. This program covers all the basic introduction, administrative requirements, theory lessons, pool sessions, and open water dives. The course should be planned over two weekend. In the second weekend, new divers will complete the lessons in open water environment. This is usually in the Thousand Island over two days. After competing the Open Water Dive Program, new divers are certified to Scuba dive. As with any certification there are requirements to meet. The instructor will direct new divers on what to do. Completing the Open Water Dive Program does not make a diver Master level. Do not get over confident, this is the recreational level. All divers should dive with a buddy, don't dive beyond your ability level, and follow the dive Master instruction.
